Proposals and Activity Plans in Microsoft Office Project Server 2007 have a number of limitations that you should be aware of.

Resolution

Before using proposals or activity plans to model a substantial amount of complex work, understand the hard-coded limitations that you cannot change or override:

    1. Maximum of only 100 tasks
    2. Maximum of one resource assignment per task
    3. A resource can be only be assigned to a task at 100% units
    4. Allows only one method of task statusing via % Complete and remaining work
    5. Only Finish-to-Start (FS) links / dependencies are supported between tasks
